Agentic AI isn't a side project anymore. It's the operating model for 2026. CFOs and CIOs who orchestrate agents across teams will win.

What matters now

• Start with outcomes, not policies

• Stand up a cross-functional AI council with clear owners

• Redesign workflows so humans and agents co-pilot work

• Set decision tiers: simulate, shadow, partial, supervised

• Measure "Return on Intelligence," not just cost saves

Early wins look like IT ticket triage, expense approvals, and intake flows that move faster with tighter controls. The unlock isn't the model. It's orchestration, governance, and talent that can "manage agents" as part of the job.

I'm bullish on finance leading here: better decisions, faster cycles, and higher trust when guardrails and metrics are built in from day one. Ready to scale beyond pilots?
